Founded by Dr. Sourendra Nath Dutta and expanded under Dr. Prof. Subir Kumar Dutta, our lab has built a reputation for reliability and excellence. We continually adopt the latest techniques and instruments to maintain our high standards, driven by our mission to serve the community.
Dr. Prof. Subir Kumar Dutta, our esteemed former Executive Director and Chief Pathologist, was a celebrated academic and award recipient. Currently, Dr. Mrinal Kanti Chaudhuri, a renowned histopathologist and academician, leads our pathology department.
Our management team includes Ms. Nandini Basu, Dr. Mrinal Kanti Chaudhuri, Dr. Samudra Basu, and Mr. Anjan Basu. Our dedicated panel of experienced pathologists enriches our services with their expertise and commitment.
Founding Vision
Our laboratory was founded by Dr. Sourendra Nath Dutta, whose vision of excellence and dedication laid the foundation for our reputation today. Under the capable guidance of Dr. Prof. Subir Kumar Dutta, our Technical Director, we expanded and continually raised our quality standards. Our legacy is built on delivering reliable and accurate results at reasonable costs, always striving for excellence by employing the latest techniques and instruments.
Leadership & Expertise
Our esteemed former Executive Director and Chief Pathologist, Dr. Prof. Subir Kumar Dutta (MBBS, DCP, MD), was a celebrated academic and medical leader. As Professor and Head of Pathology at the University College of Medicine and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calcutta, he received numerous awards for his contributions to the field.
Currently, Dr. Mrinal Kanti Chaudhuri, a distinguished histopathologist and academician, leads our pathology department. His exceptional career, numerous publications, and active participation in academic bodies uphold our tradition of excellence.
